CDR AUDIO TRADES

Greetings,

Below is a link to my audio trades. Again, NOTHING is for sale. I trade on a disc for disc basis. List is arranged by NAME OF ARTIST, VENUE, DATE, SOURCE (See Below), DOWNLOADED SOURCE (if the show was downloaded or traded via compression), NUMBER OF DISCS, IF ARTWORK IS AVAILABLE AND SOUND QUALITY.

For trades I only accept Fujifilm CD-R made in Japan (or other TY discs are fine). Please no generic. Burn at DAO (Disc at once) only. Also please do a quick spot check of your discs to make sure it's a good burn & I'll do the same. If artwork is indicated I will either include it on a separate disc (if there's allot of it) or give you the link to my artwork site. Please do the same if you have artwork available (I like to make my discs look pretty;-). I'll send your discs in sleeves because cases tend to break, please do the same. Also please indicate which disc is which and only write on the inner ring of the disc and not directly on the disc itself. Also please provide a set list with the discs if one isn't listed on your web page or trade list. Again with all of these I'll do the same:-)

Quality is rated 1-10 with 10 being best. I'd consider myself a hard-ass when it comes to MY grading (I work Quality Control at a movie channel to I tent to "take the job home" with me:-) but I have an idea what to expect from other people's lists (so don't worry about your grading, just done rate a 10 when it's actually a 2;-)

Note: I do rate sound quality not on an overall scale, but a scale compared to it's source. For example an AUDIENCE recording rated a 10 will sound much different than a SOUNDBOARD recording 10 if you compare the two. But a 10 Audience sounds the best for an AUDIENCE recording.

AU - Audience Recording (typically recorded by fans in the audience using stealth mics)
SB - Soundboard (A Deck hooked directly to the Soundboard)
FM - Recorded of the radio
IB - Internet Broadcast (broadcast on the Internet. This includes XM Satellite Radio)
LP - Recorded of record
TV - Recorded off TV broadcast
VA - Various sources.

DOWNLOAD SOURCE (if any) is the source if I downloaded the show, or we did a "media trade" instead of burned discs. I do prefer SHN discs but will accept MP3 ONLY if it's something rare (some things are only out there in MP3, unfortunate but true) and if it sounds good. I'll also be honest on my list and state if something was sourced from MP3, but I'm always looking for upgrades.

SHN - Shorten Compression format (this will include APE, FLAC and other lossless compression)
MP3 - MP3 compression that had good sound quality (128kbps or better)
RA - Real Audio

Okay, on to the list:

BAD TRADERS
It's unfortunate but there are a few bad traders out there, BEWARE:
JEFF PERKINS: jperkins@lycos.com OR jperkins@mailcity.com
We did a trade for 14 discs, 10 of which were bad burns & unplayable. Jeff refuses to replace them.
