ELECTRONIC VIDEO LIST

GREETINGS!!!
PLEASE NOTE: All items on my list is for TRADE ONLY! Nothing will be sold for profit! By opening this list indicates you are solely interested in a trade from collector to collector and not affiliated with any government or law enforcement agency. Due to copyright reasons some items are not available for trade and are listed for documentation purposes only. No rights given or implied. All items in this list are believe to be unreleased through traditional commercial channels. I offer these items because most studios are extremely short sighted and refuse to release many of these "forgotten gems" on DVD, however with the recent popularity of the format, many are changing their tune and actually releasing some of this stuff, but I still can not see them releasing shows with original commercials, full nights of network programming, shows with original music, etc. (hopefully I'm wrong). These are unique items and are a fantastic educational tool to get a feel of how television was originally broadcast and approached. Once an item is released, it will be removed from this list and I encourage everyone to purchase the released DVD's.

This list consists of VIDEO DVD's and DATA DVD's. DATA DVD's consist of DIVX or MPEG data files which are playable on a computer or DIVX certified player. Please note at this time I can not convert DIVX files to a playable DVD (as in a DVD that can be played in most standard DVD players) due to the time involved (most Divx to DVD conversions take 6+ hours) However I STRONGLY suggest buying a DIVX certified player which can play DIVX files. I bought a Philips DVP642 for only $50 and it plays great! (it even converts PAL to NTSC and (apparently) can become "regionless" (or, so I hear on the Internet;-)
Also, my VHS list is still on this site (slowly converting to DVD) and can convert ANYTHING to DVD (PAL or NTSC) for trades.

------TRADES------
All trades conducted on equal disc (if you prefer to do it differently, let me know up front, I'm pretty easy).
If we never traded before, you send first.
Most of my programs are commercial free (except for programs WITH ORIGINAL COMMERCIALS) If you edit commercials, PLEASE make sure they are clean and professionally edited. If not I'd prefer commercials left in. Recently I've received several discs with sloppy edits or the disc was still recording while the tape was being fast forwarded through the commercials. The latter is absolutely unacceptable. Also Please do not use "stand alone" DVD recorders to copy discs. (please copy via computer or replicator.)
I use Verbatim blank discs, and accept name brand discs (Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, TDK) no Office Max, Playo, or other substandard cheap brands. A good guide on the quality of DVD blank media can be found HERE. Also Please avoid writing directly on the disc (sticky notes are fine) I have a DVD printer which I like to use once I get your discs.
Also if you have artwork please include it either on the disc or via e-mail.

I can accept PAL or NTSC DVDs (I have a multi-standard monitor and like to try to keep things in their native format) and ultimately prefer VIDEO instead of DIVX, or DVDs converted from DIVX source.
Also I do have a DUAL LAYER burner. Because of cost considerations 1 DUAL LAYER disc (DL DVD 9) = 2 single layer discs (DVD 5) I can also shrink any dual layer discs (DVD9) down to a single layer disc (DVD5) if you want to a one for one trade.

------NOTHING TO TRADE?------
Because of time constraints I am unable to do "Blank and Postage" trades at this time. However, there are plenty of Region 2 and other DVD's I am looking for (originals please, no copies) I do this because not only does the artist and producers get paid, but it also sends a message to the studios to release more of these types of programs.

Also please be aware that I do this as a hobby and my time is limited, so I can't trade with everyone. However if you need help or are a "newbie" I can certainly point you in the right direction to get started.
Also, (I HATE to have to mention this but because of recent problems I guess I have to) if you are not of sound mind, or lack the mental capacities to comprehend the basic fundamentals of trading or basic polite, civil correspondence & interaction please do not contact me. I will not reply to abusive or incoherent e-mails.
